Janet Olubukola Olaitan
Janet Olubukola Olaitan is a Professor of Environmental and Public Health Microbiology in the Department of Microbiology of Osun State University. She started her career in University of Agriculture, Abeokuta before joining Osun State University.
Prof. Olaitan is astute administrator garnered from accumulated years of experience as: acting HOD, Dean- Student Affairs, Dean of the Faculty and Provost of a College. She also has held the position of Deputy Vice Chancellor (Administration and Development) of Osun State University.
Her research focus is on the ecology of microbial pathogens in the environment in relation with public health. She has participated in local and international conferences and workshops where she contributed to and gained scientific knowledge through publications and delivery of scientific papers. A member of some local and international scientific societies.
Prof. Janet Olaitan is an Asst Pastor, Sunday school teacher, counsellor and wife of a man of God. Blessed with Children.
